August 10th will have fans across Chennai tuned into their favourite radio station to listen and enjoy to the songs of the movie along with an interactive chat with Yuvan Shankar Raja, Music Director and Venkat Prabhu, Movie Director.
The much awaited blockbuster ‘Mankatha’ starring the debonair actor Ajith Kumar is surely raising the temperatures across the country. Even prior to the release, the movie and songs are creating a stir with the fan. Known for its innovative music concepts, Sony Music Entertainment & Cloud Nine Movies, as part of its marketing initiative, will be premiering the songs of the film on Chennai’s leading radio station, Radio Mirchi 98.3 Fm, giving the fans an opportunity to listen and enjoy the songs. In the month of May 2011, Sony Music launched a single CD track of ‘Vilayadu Mankatha’ that was widely accepted by the audiences and was another innovation by the music company.
Sony Music plans to leverage its digital delivery infrastructure to ensure that all music lovers can access the Mankatha songs legitimately. These songs will be available through Nokia ovi store as well as through legal downloads on the internet. Sony Music is also leveraging its partnership with mobile operators to ensure that songs are available to the music lovers and fans as callberback ringtones and through other streaming avenues on the mobile platform.
